Things I thought about Coke

I took a bottle of pepsi* out of the fridge the other day, I bought it over 6 months ago while waiting for my second child to be born. I figured it would still be good but after checking the use by date but I realised it had passed it’s date only 6 months after I bought it.

I thought coke lasted longer than that.

The posts on ‘Things I thought about Coke’ would describe something I thought about coke previously, as and when I remember things I thought. Maybe there would be some detail of when I thought that thing, or why, but not always (leave em wanting more).

*Pepsi is coke, this ‘cola-drink’ business is just silly.

What makes you think it’s a cormorant?

You said ‘bird’.

And that implies cormorant does it?

It’s not a case of implication, it’s the most likely outcome.

Because of the high probability of cormorants?

Cormorants are more likely. And crows.

So why not crow?

Not crow; never crow.

No, never crow.

No.

Staring out of my window I saw a bird looking rather forlorn. Now, this may have been due to the fact it was trying to fly while it was -15 degrees out there, it may have been due to the disappointment of a joy, previously foretold, failing to manifest. I simply don’t know.
